    Hi,

    For some reason the plugin is not responding when i try to interact with it. On the settings page the menu doesn’t work when I click it and it is the same when I try to click the create popup button or interact with any button och link in the Hustle admin panel. The integrations panel also doesn’t seem to load properly.

    What can cause this?

    I have tried to deactivate all plugins with no luck.

    Sorry to hear you are having this problem.

    Are you using the WordPress 5.5+?

    Some plugins that depend on the jQuery-migrate file can cause issues on other plugins while trying to load some functions.

    As the first troubleshooting test, could you please try to install the jQuery-helper plugin? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

    Check if the issue is gone, if not, kindly run a full plugin conflict test.

    Make sure to run this test on a staging website or create a full backup.

    Hi,

    Yes, we are using WordPress 5.5+. I tried the jQuery helper plugin but the issue is still there. I also tried deactivating all plugins apart from Hustle and changing the theme to WP twenty twenty, but the plugin is still not responding at all.

    Do you know anything else we can do to make the plugin to work, or should I just use another plugin for making popups?

    Kindly help me with the following information to try the replication on my end:

    1. Site PHP version
    2. Server type: Apache/ Nginx
    3. Do you have object cache, redis cache, static server cache active on your site? If yes, which one? Also, did you try to turn all of them oFF or clear them and check?

    Hi,
    I have the same issue with hustle. If I want to work with a popup, I cannot change the settings to “enable tracking” also in the popup menu itself, I can open it, but I can’t choose the items like “visibility, behavior, emails etc.” it just doesn’t react. It doesn’t show up frontline either. I have deactivated all plugins, changed to twentytwenty theme, deactivated cache and tried with the succested jquery plugin. Still having the issue.It worked in the beginning a few weeks ago with the same configuration on my website. I have activated the debug mode. I have Siteground, PHP 7.4.8 Apache with Nginx reverse Proxy according to their information. I also have cloudflare activated, where I deactivated the cache to check. Cache on the website is gzip, page cache, etc. with hummingbird.

    Hi @star379

    I understand that you run a conflict test but the issue still does sound very much like a conflict. However, there’s also a chance that either update didn’t work well or… it’s something on “browser end” that’s interfering.

    That being said, could you please

    – try re-installing plugin
    – try different browsers?

    Once you do the test, please let us know about results but please start a separate support ticket for this. Issues often “look similar” but are not really caused by the very same thing and often require different troubleshooting steps – so please, as per this forum rules, open a new ticket of your own and we’ll assist you there.

    thanks for your reply. Ok I do understand that and will open a new support ticket next time. Just wanted to inform you, that I have reinstalled it again now, I did do that already. I tried in another browser. I tried to deactivate all plugins which ended in an error 500…
    By now, nothing has changed, it doesn’t work.

    I’m sorry to know that. Could you pull up a fresh lab site on your end or a staging site, just install Hustle and check if that works?

    Next, can you turn on debug logging and check if you see any errors? Here is how you can do it: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/

    If you see any errors, do paste them here or add a screenshot to them, please.

    Also, as adam explained, kindly create a new thread with the link to your initial issue reply in this thread and we would and we would be happy to help you further in a fresh thread.

    Hi, thanks for your reply and sorry for being so late. I have tried all but by now it is strange that some plugins suddenly don’t work on my website. It is just like they are being blocked by a code that I can’t find. I will open another ticket if I need further support.

    I am sorry to know that it did not work on your end. If that would not be a trouble for you, could you try to check on a fresh staging site to see if that work for you with just one plugin on the site? If you did check that earlier, did it cause the same issue to you? I understand that you may be occupied in things and it is completely fine to reply according to your convenience.
