hyperlink for blog not working

I have recently reinstalled the 3.5.1 version, also tried deactivating my plugins…nothing is helping to make the hyperlink box work again. It will pop up, but nothing is able to be inserted, nor can I click on the box to open another window. Frustrating.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

PS How do you find your post again once you post it? There is no search bar that works well for bringing it up if it was posted more than about 40 minutes prior.
