Hi there,

I’ve been looking for a way to insert hyperlinks into the form or field descriptions (e.g. a link to the Privacy Policy).

So I stumbled on an answer from about a year ago from the plugin author @yikesitskevin that said:

Good idea. Turning the form description field from a textarea to a real editor (WYSIWYG) will definitely be helpful.

It seems like this has never been realized.
Does this means this functionality is not possible with this plugin?

Hi @rhisflow,

I forget the exact problem but there were issues with turning the description into a rich text field. At the moment you can only insert HTML into form description via the filter yikes-mailchimp-form-description.

You can also use filters to put HTML into field descriptions.

Alternatively, you could use our GDPR add-on which adds a confirmation checkbox and a WYSIWYG to the bottom of your form: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/eu-opt-in-compliance-for-mailchimp/.
