I have a wordpress blog {http://bestmortgagelender.org} which I allow subscribers & Authors to sign up for. My authors are writing articles pertaining to the subject matter and including hyperlinks in their articles. Although the links are formatted and coded correctly the links do not open the page that is hyper linked in the articles.

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.
