I cannot format the Widget Title???

    I am trying to put a coloured box around the Widget in my sidebar.

    I put this in my stylesheet, but the Widget Title does not change and is “outside” the formatted section?? Please coudl someone advise how I can include it??

border: 1px solid #000000;
  background-color: #96C7FF;
  color:#000000;
padding: 3%;
margin-bottom: 24px
}

    Widgets are part of the WordPress core, I do not know the answer, sorry. Perhaps General WP support forum can help.

    Thanks for your reply, Mike.
    The formatting works with the above code.
    I resolved the Widget Title problem by puttin gthe Title in the Welcome Introduction section like this:-

    <h3><b>Widget Title Goes Here</b></h3>

    Now all is OK.
