I cannot make changes to the configuration.

    I select 4 columns and 4 news, instead of 3 columns and 3 news, I press save, but it returns to the previous configuration.

    I ask that the excerpt go to 20 words instead of 15, and when I hit save, it goes back to 15 words.

    Why can’t I make changes?

    Hi there,

    Do you see any errors when you try to save? If yes, can you share it with us?

    If none, let’s try debugging things.

    Can you try disabling ALL plugins except WPSP and then try to save? If it’s successful, it’s likely a plugin conflict. (normally, security plugins do this. You can check your site’s plugin list if it has any.)

    Hello. Thanks for answering.

    No error appears when I try to make any configuration changes. I simply put a number 4 where there was a 3, I press Update but, in a rebellious way, a 3 is placed again, as can be seen in this GIF.

    I have tried to deactivate all the plugins, but it still happens the same.

    Another fault that I am suffering (which I forgot to put when I published this post) is that I have since only 15 words (actually I want 20 words, but I can’t change it either) of the extract are shown, but the entire extract is shown.

    Can you try asking your hosting provider to check the site for permission issues? A server setting may be preventing the plugin from saving.
