I can’t even make a backup.

    BackWPup Version 5.5.0
    I tried backing up to the FTP server, but there were no error messages, yet the backup failed. The log shows nothing, so I can’t even tell if there was an error. Since there’s no indication of progress, I have no way of knowing what went wrong.

    Can you confirm if the issue happens only when sending backups to FTP? For example, do backups work fine when stored on your server?

    If that’s the case, could you please try running a job that only backs up the database to FTP and see if it goes through? This will help narrow down where the problem lies.

    The backup process failed on the web server as well.
    No error message was displayed.
    There are no entries in the log either.
