I Can’t Upload Image Through Post Edit

Good day everyone, I mistakenly deleted my WordPress site yesterday but had a database backup. I downloaded, installed, and connected WordPress to the database. Everything works fine, but I noticed I can’t upload images from the edit post page.

I can upload media files from media>>add new, but not from edit post page nor customizer. I’ve changed the theme and contacted my web host all to no avail.

I also want to delete image attachments from the database that no longer exist in Wp Content>>upload, but that too doesn’t work.

Here’s the message I get when I try to upload images from customizer or post edit page.
“Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.”

Please is there any way to fix these problems?
