Good afternoon. I found a strange bug. Wordfence scans the site and finds no problems. Displays the result in the scan log, but exactly one day later the log is cleared. I scan again, the result of the scan is displayed, but exactly one day later the scan log is cleared. The integrity of the plug-in files is not violated, there are definitely no viruses on the site. There are no problems on similar sites on the same hosting. Why is this happening? The only difference from other sites is that there are several thousand users on the site (not bots, but real users).

    Hi @ronbi13

Please send your Wordfence diagnostics report.

Update to the latest version of Wordfence if you haven’t already done so.

Go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and @ronbi13 as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail

Good afternoon. Unfortunately, the laws of my country on personal data prohibit the transfer of sensitive data to third parties. I have a large website with thousands of users. It sounds absurd, but it’s true. But I checked the _wfstatus table and I see the results of the last scan. At the same time, I do not see the scan progress log on the scan page. I cleaned the cache, cleaned the browser cache, went into the admin area of another browser, the problem persists. The result of the last scan log is displayed for 24 hours and then cleared. But he doesn’t find any problems with viruses. I checked with other antiviruses – the site is not infected. There are no problems on similar sites on the same hosting. Why is this happening? The only difference from other sites is that there are several thousand users on the site (not bots, but real users). I turned off password verification during scanning, but it did not solve the problem. What can be done in this situation and how critical is it?

    Hi @ronbi13

    Thank you for the update.

When the scan log is clear, what number of rows do you see in the wfstatus database table?

Good afternoon. I see only 100 rows in the _wfstatus table.

I will complete the answer. There are 500 entries in this table immediately after scanning, and after 24 hours there are 100 entries, but the results are not visible on the scan page in the wordpress plugin.

Maybe there are some ideas on how to fix this. It feels like some process is clearing this table every 24 hours. Thank you.
