    It would be helpful if you could open up the Network panel in DevTools to see what the response is for that request so we can determine why it is not valid JSON. It could be some caching plugin, for example, that is corrupting the JSON format.

    Also, the AMP plugin works well with PHP 5.6, There was an issue reported in version 2.2.2, which was fixed in 2.2.3, I will recommend updating AMP plugin to the latest version ie 2.2.4.

    JFI We are planning to bump the minimum requirement for PHP to version 7 (Github Issue), so I will recommend upgrading to PHP 7.4, ASAP
