Nevermind… it is working this morning.
Hi @ehemmer21,
Glad to hear it’s working fine. In any case, you face an issue next time, please do share a screenshot of the settings you have configured under Hummingbird > Asset Optimization so that we could check further if needed.
Have a nice day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
Good Morning… now it’s back to a black screen just showing the load icon. Seems that the page is loading in the background, but doesn’t display. It was working find before installing Hummingbird. I am afraid of restoring the back up from Tuesday because I made a lot of changes yesterday. I know I should have backed up before running you, but the reviews on the plug in didn’t mention this issue.
I have the screen shot. How do I attached or cut and paste in here?
I also didn’t make any modifications manually as the message suggests at this point.
when I deactivate hummingbird the site functions normal.
Hi @ehemmer21
Sorry to hear you are having this issue.
Can you please enable the debug mode following this guide: https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/
Enable the plugin again, the same issue is going to happen, but this time check if any log was generated in WordPress directory > wp-content folder.
Download the debug.log, upload it on any sharing service like Google drive and let us know the URL.
Let us know the result you got.
Best Regards
