I wanted to manage all my 20 sites. ManageWP seemed a good choice but I couldn’t get all the sites connected. I went to their excellent support and managed to get some problems resolved (I was using credentials then the managewp worker to no avail). But after a few months of not looking at my dashboard, I went back in only to find three out of eight were disconnnected and trying to reconnect failed. Rather than spend the lengthy process of back and forth with ManageWP I jjsut experimented with those specific problem sites using MainWP. No problems. I added all the others and again all smooth running. A free extension to control Updaraft (amongst others, but Updraft connects to Dropbox for free) also works well.
I am enjoying MainWP!
