I would add that if you have 6000 posts, despite I automate thumbnail for all posts, you will have to do the process in several times because google may temporarily block your website’s access to google image if you do it 6000 following times.
I’m thinking in what is the smartest way to develop this feature.

Ok, I’m not sure where is the problem, I have just try it on a new wordpress intall and it works.
Maybe the problem is on post title with some special characters. If you tried to generate thumbnail individually for each post ( 10 posts into your screen ) does it work for each one ?
I will work on it, and published a new fix.
