Hi Julius,
Those widgets display posts based on selected categories. If you haven’t selected categories for each widget they will display latest posts on all widgets. So go to Appearance > Widgets and select different categories for those different posts widgets.

Thanks for your quick response. Is still not clear to me maybe because I’m a new blogger. Please where is this category located in widget? Is it by clicking on visibility then select? Do I click show or hide? Do I tick Match All Conditions box?
Please explain it to me in details.

Hi Julius,
Go to Appearance > Widgets.
There you will see different sidebars like “Main Sidebar, Magazine Homepage, Header Advertisement Area”.
Click on “Magazine Homepage” to expand the sidebar.
Inside the “Magazine Homepage” sidebar you will see the list of posts widgets.
Just click on any post widget. When you click, it will expand. There you will see a dropdown box called “Select a post category”.

In magazine posts (Style1) I selected a post category as fish farming but is only the fish that is showing, the other 4 articles with little images are not there. Same with magazine posts (Style2) and magazine posts (Style3). In your HitMag demo magazine posts (Style1 is showing one large images and 4 small images with articles so also magazine posts (Style2) and magazine posts (Style3) that shows 6 articles.

There should be 5 posts in that category to display like the demo. However in “Fish farming business” category there is only one post. So it is the only post showing in widget.
And the same in Cocoa farming category.
So write some posts for those categories.

Thank you once again. Please can you teach me how I can create 1 category and put 5 posts in that same 1 category? Because when I click “a select posts category” where I selected fish farming business,I could only select one post or select ” show all posts” in the drop down button.
I have created more than 35 posts already, but I want to know how I can put more than 1 posts in a category. My inability to get this right has slow than my work progress.

Go to edit screen of any post. And then at the right side of the screen you will see a meta box called “Categories”. You can select the category that you want to assign for the post. After selecting the categories click “Update” button.
If you cannot see the “Categories” Meta box just click on the “Screen Options” tab at the top right corner of the screen. Then mark “Categories” checkbox. After that you will see the metabox.
I think you may want to learn how to use WordPress. You can find some great tutorials here – https://wordpress.tv/category/how-to/page/3/ The WP interface is old in these tutorials but the concept is same.
Yes I selected 5 categories and click Update button. then went to my Magazine post Style1, is still the same thing. When I googled Categories meta box image, I discovered, my Meta box do not have aciform and sub box to tick.
Please can you do a video or info-graphic for me or is there a plugin for to be able to group more than 1 posts in a category? I just want to get it right and make some many before going for the theme pro because I love this theme so much. If at the end I can’t get it right, I will have to go back to “Your latest posts” instead of A Static page.

No no you are doing it wrong. Don’t select 5 categories for 1 post. ( Yes you can assign a post to more than one category. ) But in this case you need to go to edit screens of 5 different posts ( At least 3 ) and assign them to 1 category.
For example –
Let’s say you want to display “Cocoa Farming” posts in one widget.
First go to a post related to Cocoa Farming and select the “Cocoa Farming” category for that post and update.
Again go to another post related to Cocoa Farming and select the “Cocoa Farming” category for that post and update.
Do it again and again for all the Cocoa Farming related posts.
Then go to Appearance > Widgets and select the category cocoa farming for one widget. Then it will display 5 latest posts from the “Cocoa Farming”.
This is a very very simple concept.
I must say a big thank you as I have finally gotten it. Once again thanks for being there for me.

Can I add to ” RELATED POSTS” to be more than 2 or 3? If yes how do I it?
I can see some of my RELATED POSTS have images attach to them while some are not. How do I make all to have images attach them?

I am sorry you cannot add more than 3 related posts.
To display images in all of them, you need add features images for all the posts.
