    Hi πŸ™‚

I’m trying your plugin on premise which is very cool !

As I want everything running from my server not sending any data outside, your on premise solution is amazing. But when starting the chat, there’s some cookies sent to i2.wp.com .

So why? And how to remove them?

    Thanks for your support πŸ™‚

i2.wp.com is used for getting the user/agent avatar when a chat starts. This is a service officially provided by wordpress themselves.

-We make an API request to this service with the user’s entered chat name e.g: “Leo”
-This service then returns an avatar containing the letter “L” which becomes the agent’s/user’s avatar.

Removing them is not possible unfortunately as this would break the UI if no avatars are present.

If you need a 100% fully on-premise solution, i’d have to suggest you use the “3CX Integration” mode of the plugin which will require you to install your own PBX server somewhere to act as the data passthrough. This will eliminate even these minor external calls to the internet.

Thanks for this by the way, we’ll add info about this on our plugin page.

Thanks a lot for the explaination and complete answer πŸ™‚

So I’m going to have a look at 3CX Integration, I found this
    https://www.3cx.com/docs/crm-integration/
    Looks well explained.

You did a crazy job for the on-premise solution with integration !

    Thanks πŸ˜‰
