    This plugin forces setting the API key constants, even when the server has an appropriate IAM role. The library being included for the AWS API does support this feature.

    Simply by making Amazon_Web_Services::are_key_constants_set return true, IAM roles worked perfectly. A new constant or database option should be added to support this setup.

    This will be possible in the next release if you set the constant
    define( 'AWS_USE_EC2_IAM_ROLE', true );
