iCal/.ics problem for recurring events

    Let’s say I have a recurring event: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday for just one week. Is it possible to list the event once on the Events List and have the .ics file generate five instances of the event on a calendar (one for each day)?

    Currently, if I use the regular Add Event functionality I see one entry on the Events List but on the calendar I end up with one big event starting at 9:00 AM Monday and ending at 5:00 PM Friday. If I use the Recurring Event functionality, I get 5 entries on the Events List and each one gives me a separate, one day event on the calendar. Thanks.

    That’s not something that’s doable out-of-the-box.

    That said, it might be possible to conjure up some custom code for a new version of the template at /events-manager/templates/templates/ical.php that simulated that kind of output.
