ICS calendar – no admin menu

    I’ve done all these steps;

    1.Upload ‘ics-import’ folder to your plugins folder, usually wp-content/plugins.
    2.Activate the plugin on the Plugins screen.
    3. Place the following on a page (not post): [show-ics-events] or [show-ics-events=num_events] (for events list) [show-ics-calendar] (for new calendar)

    4. You can also use the widget in your sidebar.

    the blog shows “There is no calendar set. Please review the calendar settings.”

    On my admin page, I didn’t see any menu for the ICS calednar.

    What do I miss?

    Any help area greatly apprciated!

    What version of WordPress are you using? It must be 2.5 or higher.

    You’re probably more attentive than am I; but a couple of times I’ve downloaded plugins which did not work and realized upon investigation that my WordPress version was not current enough.

    DId this ever get resolved? I’m a complete newbie and I’m having the same problem. I’m using WordPress 2.7.1 which ICS Calendar says it’s works up to.

    Nevermind. Figured it out after a whole lot of hunting. In case you haven’t yet, you have to go to this URL:

    http://XXXXXX/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=ics-import

    where “XXXXXX” is the URL to your blog.

    I couldn’t find ANY documentation anywhere where it simply stated that. I had to look at other plugins and found one that had a link to a similiar control panel and figured out you had to find the “page” (eg in this case “ics-import”) to match from the installed plug-in files. Anyway, it’s working for me now. Hope this helps.
