I am using woopayments as payment provider for my website. Since i’m mostly serving Dutch clients, I would like to offer them iDeal payments. However, even though i have selected this method in the back-end, it is not showing front end. Only the creditcard option shows.

Thank you for reaching out. This appears to be expected behavior. Could you confirm if you’re located in the Netherlands when loading this page? iDEAL isn’t available worldwide. I’m experiencing the same behavior on my end, but since iDEAL is widely used in the Netherlands, if you’re accessing the site from other countries, that could explain why it briefly appears and then disappears.
Would it be possible for someone from the Netherlands to try visiting your site and see if the iDEAL option shows up?
I indeed expected this behaviour as well, so I had already asked my colleagues in the Netherlands to test it. They are also only seeing the card-payments.
Also various customers of mine who are located in the Netherlands see this happen.
I visited your site using a Dutch VPN but didn’t see the iDeal payment option at checkout.
To investigate further, please enable the “Log error messages” option in the WooPayments settings. Then go through the checkout process to trigger the logs. Once done, go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs, find the relevant error log, and share it with me using Pastebin.com.
Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.
Thank you for sharing the report and the log details. After reviewing the logs, I can confirm that the entries relate to a successful API request to create or update the WooPayments fraud ruleset via the WordPress.com API, and don’t indicate any errors.
I also reviewed your system status report and noticed you’re using Elementor along with the Hello Elementor theme. I’ve encountered a similar issue before, which turned out to be caused by the Hello Elementor theme affecting card and other payment methods.
To safely troubleshoot this without impacting your live site, I recommend creating a staging environment using a subdomain or the WP Staging plugin. Once the staging site is ready, please switch your theme to Storefront and deactivate both Elementor and Elementor Pro.
After doing so, check if the iDEAL payment method now appears. Kindly share the staging site link along with the system status report from the staging environment so we can continue testing.
