IDN domain / activation

    Hi, I’m on an IDN domain and I try to set up a new site using https from the beginning, but wordfence refuses to grant me a free API key. Using wp cli, it says:
    wp plugin activate –all
    Could not fetch free API key from Wordfence: WordFence API error: Your site sent us an invalid Site URL when requesting an API key. We received: ‘https://ö.öä.valid.domain.name’
    The domain name is a valid domain name, but with German Umlauts in the name. Other domain names are ok. The rest of the site works well with that domain name.
    Any advice?

    Hello @wondermike,

    We’ve seen a similar issue to this about a year ago. Can you please provide us the exact domain as listed in the WordPress Settings page so we can further examine this issue?
