IE8 rendering problems

I have searched support and find similar issues, but none of the solutions have solved my problem. FullCalendar renders fine in Firefox and Chrome, but not IE8. In IE8, the header does not render properly about 80% of the time. Ocassionally, it will render. When it does not render, calendar navigation controls are missing and the only thing that renders is the Month and Year.

I’ve updated to the latest version of WP and widgets.
