    Hello Tobias,

First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for this plugin and I
would like to ask you, if it is possible to use IF Function in Tablepress… because when i used formula from excel:

    =IF(A1=B1;”Accepted”;”Rejected”)

    the answer from TablePress was:

    !ERROR! Too many “=”

Thank you for your answer…. Peter.

    Hi Peter,

thanks for your question! Nice to hear that you like the plugin!

Unfortunately, I have bad news. The external library that TablePress for the formulas is not as sophisticated as the formulas in Excel, and does only support the most important math functions.
You can find a list of available functions at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/formulas-in-tables

Thank you Tobias.. never mind, i will find some other solution for my problem.

I would like to ask one more question if I could:
Is it possible to enter some text into cell from front-end page, or only from Admin panel ? Thank you

    Hi,

sure, you are welcome! And sorry that I can’t help with that formula problem 🙁

About your other question: No, this is not possible either. The intended use case for TablePress is to offer an easy way for adding tabular data to a site. It does not have capabilities that would be required for tables being editable from the frontend. That’s more a task for a database system with a custom script.

    Regards,
    Tobias
