Iframe keyboard input

So I have WordPress, and I was trying to do something fun for myself, I used the internet archives dosbox to bring over some old games I use to play, I am starting very simple with and then once I get the core working, I want to add some overlay features, that’s not important though, the issue I am having is if you click and start the game (which is inside an iframe) everything works, but if you click outside the iframe and go back, you lose keyboard input ability.
so I took my iframe out, and just made a non WordPress page with it, it works fine, I can click in the iframe, and then out of it and still retain keyboard input, it just seems WordPress specific, if the Iframe is there, and is clicked off, keyboard input does not return. I can’t think of a reason why. Any ideas appreciated. It is going on a Page, not a post if that matters.
