iFrame with [page_title] shortcode
-
Hi Cliff,
Per this review comment (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/passing-parameters-to-the-iframe?replies=3#post-4334184), I was able to implement shortcode that properly pulls the page_title into the title field of the iFrame Pardot Form (e.g. <iframe src=”http://go.lawleyinsurance.com//l/45442/2014-06-06/2p5r/?title=Affordable Housing Insurance”></iframe>)
I was under the impression that somewhere in the Pardot Prospect record, the actual URL string from which this prospect was converted would contain the page_title, but I’m not seeing it anywhere in Pardot.
Can you elaborate on what the purpose of pulling the page or post title into the iFrame form title accomplishes on the Pardot end? I was hoping that we could use a single Form on multiple pages of our website, and then use the page_title value from the submission to build automation rules and route the prospects appropriately.
DISCLAIMER: I am a Pardot and WordPress noob 🙂
