I'm confused between ww.wp.xz.cn and WordPress.com

    Alright, I just found out that ww.wp.xz.cn and WordPress.com are two different things.

    I understand that WordPress.com is hosted by wordpress itself but I’m wondering, is ww.wp.xz.cn the one where I have to host it myself or can I get someone to host it for me.

    I have a WordPress.com account and I downloaded a theme from WordPress and it wont allow me to upload it to WordPress.com yet, when I downloaded WordPress from ww.wp.xz.cn they gave me a video showing that I can install it ~> http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nb2Cy-UV824#! <~. I’m confused.

    I don’t think im techy enough to host my own site, so If I get BlueHost, will it host my ww.wp.xz.cn site. I still have no finished the installation of ww.wp.xz.cn yet, because I dont have a host, and I cant self host.

    Cant someone lead me in the right direction?

    Yes – via a hosting account and domain name that you need to have pre-arranged/purchased. Perhaps you need to review http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    BlueHost and others allow you to sign up with them and register a domain, then use their connected scripts like SimpleScripts to do your WordPress installation and send you the key (login info).

    Your new installation will begin running with Twenty Twelve as its default theme, and you can then make a Child Theme or install and activate any other WordPress theme. I knew nothing about any of this six months ago, and the overall experience so far has been great!
