table HTML gets inserted

    I’m losing posts. I get a revision of the post and paste it into the visual editor, I then switch to the text editor and find that I know have table HTML inserted into the text of the post. For some reason when I update a post table HTML gets inserted.

    I have tried deactivating my plugins, that does nothing. Table HTML still gets inserted into the post. Now what the fuck is going on here?

    where do you get the revision from? in what form is that revision?

    try to paste, using the ‘paste as text‘ miniature ‘clipboard icon’ or use the ‘clear formatting‘ miniature ‘erasure’ icon of the visual text editor.

    Good advice, but it shouldn’t be necessary.
