    Hi @richireo2016,

I did not encounter any issues when trying this plugin.

Only thing to note is that if you change the css/js in any way, Autoptimize will refresh the files. Currently, LiteSpeed Cache pages will not update with that, so if you change your css/js in any way, make sure to manually purge the litespeed cache.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

    Hello

I’m testing LiteSpeed cache plugin + Autoptimize as a full replacement of WP Rocket and first (at https://tools.pingdom.com/) tests are realy impressive 😉

But there is something I would like you to clarify :
    > You said that no files are cached and stored on the server (I understand within wp-content or somewhere else)
    > But Autoptimize store files (.js, .css and .html) in /wp-content/cache/autoptimize

So I wonder how the 2 plugins can play together well?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi @pako69;
I’m Frank, Autoptimize’s developer. AO indeed stores optimized CSS/ JS in wp-content/cache/autoptimize. This has no impact on Litespeed cache which caches the HTML pages (which will have links to the AO CSS/ JS in them). The only thing to keep in mind (and this is AO only, not due to or linked to Litespeed) is that your cache site might grow fast if you would enable “also aggregate inline JS” (which for that reason is off by default). There’s more info on this topic in AO’s FAQ.

So summary; Litespeed Cache & Autoptimize can indeed play well together and as the tests confirm the result can be pretty impressive 🙂

    Hope this clarifies,
    frank

Hi Frank and thanks for the clear answer 🙂

Just a last question, you said: “AO indeed stores optimized CSS/ JS

But I also see /wp-content/cache/autoptimize/index.html so what is the HTML files that is loaded? The one in wp-content or the on “somewhere” in the LS Server?

    Thanks

But I also see /wp-content/cache/autoptimize/index.html so what is the HTML files that is loaded?

just a placeholder file with aim to prevent people from seeing the contents of the directory in case directory listing would be enabled on webserver-level, cfr. http://static-blog.futtta.be/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/index.html 🙂

    wonderfull 🙂

    Hi @pako69,

From the LiteSpeed side, the html pages are stored in the designated ‘cache root’ setting on the server. Our default recommendations are /home/lscache and /home/USER/lscache. These directories are accessed by the server and are not directly targeted when a request comes in (e.g. nobody will be accessing the pages via example.com/path/to/my/cache/file.html).

Let us know if you have any more questions!
    Kevin
