Alligator popup can be used to create a popup link by inserting a shortcode like:
[popup url="https://network1sports.com/player.php?name=kpow" height="200" width="300" scrollbars="no" alt="mypopup"]Link Text[/popup]
or if you cannot enter a shortcode, a text link can be used:
<a href="https://network1sports.com/player.php?name=kpow" class="popup" data-height="200" data-width="300" data-scrollbars="0" alt="my link text">Link Text</a>
The link text in both cases can be replaced with an image.
I used this as a link under an image…
https://network1sports.com/player.php?name=kpow” class=”popup” data-height=”200″ data-width=”300″ data-scrollbars=”0″ alt=”my link text
… it opens up in a new full tab with broken css and links.

It’s the orange Listen to the Panthers image.
Thanks
It looks like the link is malformed. I don’t use elementor so I do not have any experience of it, but it could be that which is preventing the data attributes from being added. I would suggest asking elementor’s support about adding data attributes to a link.
Interesting… Take a look now…
If I use a simple text box and paste the link code, it opens in a new the same full tab.
If I use the simple text box and pull in an image and use the link or us an image widget and link to it… it opens in a new the same tab but broken css.

It looks like elementor doesn’t have a way for data attributes to be added to the link.
