Image Box & Dynamic Content
-
Does the JKit Image Box widget work with dynamic content created using ACF? I can set all the tags but no content is displaying on the frontend…
Is this another case of elementor dynamic tags showing on a widget but not working….

Hello @digitalberry,
We apologize for the delay in our response.
Previously, we have checked and attempted to fix this issue. Could you please try replacing the file in
../wp-content/plugins/jeg-elementor-kit/lib/jeg-element/includes/class/elementor/class-elementor-abstract.phpwith the file from the link below?File: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pu2eOsfhbuca9JT3N7J_Win4n9mOq9Nl/view?usp=share_link
With that file, the Dynamic Tag should be working properly.
Before adding the file, we hope that you can back up your data first so that it can be restored in case of any unintended errors.
We will wait for further updates from you.
Thank You
Hi,
Thanks for the file, unfortunately it made no change to the dynamic options showing.
Here’s a link to the page with the issue – https://cuckfield-golf-club.staging-digitalberry.co.uk/members/The left Jkit image box (mens captain) is using the dynamic tags and pulling data from an ACF (6.1.4) CPT for the image and persons name. The two examples on the right use the normal Jkit image box with manual data added.
Hello @digitalberry,
We apologize for the delay in our response. Previously, we have tried it, and it can work well with ACF.
May we know the settings of your field? If you created it for a Page, please make sure that the field is in the Page. For more details, please refer to the image below.
You can read more about Elementor with ACF at the link below.

Thank You
They are a standard ACF Image and text field respectively and all the dynamic fields are correctly loaded.

I tried the different ACF image Return Format options, but nothing seems to help/improve things. It’s very odd, as is a simple setup, which I’ve done before (not using JKit image box, so was surprised at it not working first time.
Hello @digitalberry,
If you are using the
Text EditorandImagewidgets from Elementor, does ACF still not work? If the widgets from Elementor can render ACF correctly, then the Jeg Elementor Kit plugin should also be able to render it.If it still doesn’t work, we think it may be a placement issue. You have created a
CPTand aField Group. Then from what we can see, you are using the Elementor Dynamic Tag on a Page, not on the CPT. Therefore, make sure you place theField Groupin your Page, not the CPT you created.https://elementor.com/academy/how-to-use-elementor-with-acf-tutorial/
If ACF still doesn’t work with Elementor widgets, we suggest contacting the ACF team or Elementor team for proper guidance.
In any case, we will wait for further updates from you.
Thank You
Hi,
Thanks for all the efforts, I can get other widgets working just fine with ACF and Elementor dynamic tags, so I’m going to cut my losses and just use a different widget.
Hello @digitalberry,
We apologize for the inconvenience that you had to switch to a different widget. It seems that the default Elementor widget works fine with ACF on your end. Previously, Jeg Elementor Kit was not able to render Dynamic Content properly, but the file that we provided before should have resolved the issue.
We still do not have any further clues, but we will continue to investigate this issue in the future. If you don’t mind, could you please create and send us your ACF settings/data, or a video that demonstrates the steps to replicate this issue? It would be very helpful for us to investigate the issue further.
Thank You
