Can you tell me what is the content builder you used to create your product pages? It seems that WPLP is not able to detect the image.
Could you test with using the featured image and see if it works?

I just tried to select “featured image”, but it still doesn’t work:(

Indeed it seems that image block in WP Backery is not detected but on my side the feature image option is working. I’ve added a feature image, select the image source to be loaded as feature image in the news block:
