Hello Marianne. Which method are you using? Can you try to access this @2x file from http to see if it is there or not?

Hello Jordy,
I use Picturefill method.
I can see the @2files in my server via filezilla.
My boyfriend has a retina screen mac and when I activate or deactivate the plugin, I don’t see any difference in the quality of the image on his screen. Plus, the pb I told you about the log file saying my images are not found (it’s still the case). But I see them in the serveur as I just said above.
I don’t know, I think I miss something but I don’t know what. I’m going to continue to work on it and in the meantime, if you have another clue to help me, thanks!
Marianne
Hi Marianne,
What is your website URL? I might be able to check a few things…

Hi Jordy, yes thanks, can you send me a private email to communicate, here is mine: [email protected]
Marianne
Sorry, I don’t provide any free support by email anymore since I really spent too much time on it. However, you can use the contact form at Totoro Times to give me your URL then I will give you pointers about the issue on this thread (so that everyone can see). Let’s do that 🙂

Ok, thanks, that’s done 🙂
Actually I checked and your website you are using an image called “dogville-home1.jpg’. if there was a retina image available ([email protected]), it would habe been used, but it doesn’t exist.
I believe you are using the “original” image everywhere in your website, they are not the sized created by WordPress and the plugin…
If you want to use the original image, you have to create a retina version of that image by yourself and upload it; the plugin cannot help you by blowing-up an image, the result would not be good 🙂
