I´m sorry, where should I put that code? I´m not actually a coder..

In place where you put current captions. Or anywhere you have text fields and woud like them to be multilingual (title of widgets for example).

I use it everyday on revolution slider, and works like a charm. So in caption where you normaly put Text message, just put code above. Maybe it is problem with Customizr slider you are using ?

Thank you for your time and help!

    Hello!

(flying with WP 3.9.1 Multisite and mqtranslate 2.6.2.6)

in order to translate media captions i tried both the
    quickcodes ([:en] [:de]) and the
    full language code (<!–:en–> <!–:–> )
in the media caption field without success.

    Then i implemented
    http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/translate-captions-of-the-images?replies=6#post-5100278
and that did the trick. For now. But as it is in the media.php it might be lost through core updates later on.

Now i wonder if there are any plans from the mqTranslate authors to implement translatable media captions?

As i am not a good coder (yet…) i cant overlook what i am asking, but searching the net i was astonished as to how little seems to be known on how to really solve this in a durable, smart way.

There seem to be ways like
    http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/51946/qtranslate-get-content-by-language
that i do not know how to implement due to lack of coding skills…

or even another way (to patch or fork qtranslate)
    https://github.com/rafaelcalleja/qTranslateMultimediaLanguage

But for me the main question here is:
Am i just overlooking the simplicity of the solutions suggested or is there simply not much need for translated media captions?
I think its the first (in this case i am open for other suggestions) but please, folks… help me understand where i am at. I like mqtranslate and think this schould simply become a new feature.

Thanks a lot for the plugin and the help!

Push. Have the same issue … is there a solution out there?
