    Hello,

I understand I can use a image compression plugin pointing to uploads/forminator/ to compress/resize uploaded images. My question is, will the compressed version of the image be the one attached in the submission email?

    Regards,
    Mir

  • Hi @itsmir

I hope you are doing well today.

When the form is submitted, it triggers 2 actions: 1st is an entry to the database, and the 2nd one is an email. The file is uploaded on the fly to /uploads/forminator/ when the user will press the SUBMIT button, and on the fly, it is also attached to the email, and there is no way to compress it.

Of course, you can set up compressions for that folder, but the email with the original file will be sent anyway before that compression takes place.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

Thanks for the confirmation, I thought that might be the case.
