Image conversion when uploading media

    Just a heads up… the option to convert uploaded files to WebP is going to be removed. It always felt a little misplaced inside a Cloudflare-specific plugin (even if the intent was to convert images as they are being uploaded to Cloudflare’s R2 service).

    I spun the feature out into it’s own plugin and also added some additional functionality. It still works for R2 media uploads, but also works fine if a site doesn’t use Cloudflare at all.

    • Convert to WebP (the existing funtionality)
    • Convert to AVIF
    • Watermark support (with transparency setting)

    Waiting for ww.wp.xz.cn’s plugin team to do the review before it’s available on ww.wp.xz.cn.

    Anyway, just a heads up… won’t remove the existing feature from the Cloudflare plugin until the new plugin is available on ww.wp.xz.cn.
