There are no recommended ideal dimensions for image popups.
However, could you tell us whether you’re facing an issue with image sizing and that’s why asked this question?
If so, please, send the URL where we can see the popup live as well as a screenshot from Dimensions section so we can see what’s up there.

Hi, I tried many combinations of dimensions but I still cannot find a way to have mobile version looking good.

Desktop is ok but mobile not.
