Thanks for the plugin, it’s great.

Would it be possible to have the option to select the post title as the images description when pinning it to pinterest instead of the alt or title text?

It would also be useful if I could add additional text to the description. For example, I would like to be able to add a link back to my blog post in the Pinterest description. In other words the description might have the image alt text then ” via ” and a link to the page the image was pinned.

I did a little more testing and I found a bug. If the image has no alt or title attributes and the pinterest button is clicked the description reads ‘undefined’.

    Hi,

thanks for letting me know about the ‘undefined’ issue. When it comes to using post title as the description, that’s something I plan to add in the nearest future.

When it comes to customizing the pin description even more, I need to think about it. Not sure if and when it could be added.

    Hi,

I released a new version where you can set the post title as the image description. Hope that’s what you were looking for.
