Hi,

When I import images from another (WordPress) website, the filename gets changed in some cases.

For example:

firstname-lastname-.jpg is changed into
firstname-lastname.jpg

For a custom function I need the original filename.

Is there a way to prevent the changing of the filename?
Or can you tell me what function is used so I now in what cases my filename gets changed?

Hi @kevinbrands

I see that we’ve answered this question for you in our ticket system already. For anyone else running into this issue, it was happening because of the dash before the image extension, and that dash can be retained with the following code:
```
function wpai_image_filename($filename, $img_title, $img_caption, $img_alt, $article, $import_id, $img_url) {
    return basename( $img_url );
}

add_filter('wp_all_import_image_filename', 'wpai_image_filename', 10, 7);
```
