• Hey there! I just recorded a quick Loom about an issue I’m facing with the gallery on our website using the blocksy theme. It’s causing some major disruptions, and I’m wondering if you could take a look to see if there’s a workaround or any known conflicts with blocksy. Here’s the link to the Loom: [Loom link]. Thanks!

Also I wanted to ask if there is a way to make the grid selection smaller on mobile, it is quite large and eating up a lot of screen space.

The developers have analysed the plugin and it seems that it has been forcefully created to only work with the default WooCommerce gallery. This means that integration from our end (blocksy) is impossible, as they simply do not offer a way for doing so.

    any support possible for this?

    Hi @shisha101 ,

Indeed, we have received some reports about gallery display issues with some themes, especially ones using the block-based editor/builder. Our plugin can only work properly with themes using the default WooCommerce gallery.

In order to adapt the display on mobile version, it requires some custom CSS.

Since you are using the Premium version of the Blocksy theme, maybe you can reach out to the theme author to ask for further help with custom codes for mobile version display on your site.

    Best regards.

    Hello Janilyn,

Thanks for your response, I believe Blocksy is a popular theme, would it be possible to plan to extend the plugin to work with it as well ? I believe this would vastly expand your consumer base!

    Cheers
    Shehab.

    Hi @shisha101 ,

It’s not just about the theme, though. It’s about the block-based editor.

Unfortunately, our developers aren’t capable of solving these at the moment as using the blocks for page building is too different from the classic editor.

    Best regards.

Well i believe the theme does use the block-based editor, based on your response :), so if you solve for that I should be ok.

… just want to second the problem on blocksy/gutenberg. Also when switching off “modifying image depending on selection (free translation)” in WPC settings, the plugin still is messing with some buttons in blocksy. So, when using blocksy, don´t use WPC Plugins.

besides that, nice free offer from wpc (which is quite reduced in functions when it comes to variable products with more than 1 attribute, but thats where they make their money and thats ok)

edit: no problems with the theme with their corresponding plugins “bundle” and “group” though. It´s a pitty “composite” code/css seems to — overtake — your customers product configuration area in the frontend with blocksygutenberg.

hello, I would really like to use your plugin and it is quite good but I and I believe many others need this block editor issue to be resolved 🙂 or at the very least a workaround that is not going to cause an issue with speed

Jup, i would buy it right away if this problem would be solved (and variable products with all attributes would be supported in the paid version … which i assume).
