Hi @bolisch,
Glad you like it! When I inspect the HTML of the gallery, it seems like it is set to display a single column in normal width, so it doesn’t have the full-width class. Can you check the settings of the block when editing the post?

Hi @anlino,
Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it!
Unfortunately it does not work, I can’t even see a possibility to change that setting in the visual editor. I tried it via Custom CSS as well, but to no success (sorry, I am no coder).
BUT: it works when I use a gallery within a “classic” block (1st and 2nd gallery on the page now).
But even then there is some strange behavior:
1. the link (as now used in the second gallery on the page) only leads to the image, not an item-page (which is supposed to happen). This is true for classic and block.
2. When I try to edit a gallery within the block editor (3rd gallery on the page), the image just disappears and I have to make a new gallery.
Anyway, the classic workaround works for now – but I thought I’d let you know.
Thanks again!
Bolisch
Hi @bolisch,
You can find instructions for how to change columns and alignments of the gallery block here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/gallery-block/ (the article is for WordPress.com, but the same interface is pretty much the same).

Dear @anlino,
Yes, it’s official now: I desperately need new bulbs in my brain. Oh my.
Thanks a ton and keep up the good work!
