Image goes white …

Hi, most images I’ve tried so far work fine, but one set of images with file sizes of around 10mb each is going wrong – the images upload as normal but the compression is adding a blizzard of ‘snow’ or white pixels all over it, kinda like a strong application of ‘lighten’ in Photoshop or something. So far my best guess its to do with the large file size, any thoughts? Thanks. (Latest version of WP)
