I’ve already found a work around for this issue on my website, but wanted to bring it up for future sites I work on. The issue I ran into was that when doing the posts import (having it automatically pull over images over using the image import feature), the featured images pulled over perfectly, however the post content inline images didn’t quite pull in right, there were some images that pulled over the right file but referenced the wrong image size (300×300 instead of 768×768 for example), which caused the image reference to break. Additionally it keeps the month/year part of the image upload so image reference is /wp-content/uploads/2026/06/imagepath.jpg for example, but the plugin pulled the images over to /wp-content/uploads, causing broken image references. That part I was able to self resolve by by using a database search & replace.

I don’t need any help currently just wanted to share as this plugin seems great from what I’ve used so far, and would love to see it continue getting better!

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback and for the kind words about the plugin.

We really appreciate you documenting the issue and the workaround you used. Based on your description, it sounds like there may be edge cases around inline image size references and upload path handling during the image import process. We’ll dig into this on our end and try to reproduce the behavior. If we can confirm the issue, we’ll work on implementing a proper fix in a future update.

Feedback like this is incredibly valuable and helps us continue improving the plugin for everyone. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention, and we’re glad to hear the plugin has been working well for you overall.
