Hi. I want to add additional elements to the layout of the events listings (for example, an image).

I am aware of the placeholders (such as #_EVENTIMAGE{x,y} ) and the html for the “default event list format” (EVENTS/SETTINGS/FORMATTING/EVENTS/EVENTS PAGE).

My question is, “How do I, or where do I, find this when creating a new event?” I can’t find any place to select or name a pic. And, I assume this applies to other placeholders. How does that become an input field in the events creation interface (esp. through the admin panel)?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

The #_EVENTIMAGE placeholder will show the Featured Image set on the Add / Edit Event page.

Adding a Featured image automatically places a copy of the image at the top… then it repeats where I have included the placeholder. Is there a file that I need to edit to remove the default location for the featured image?

    thank you. 🙂

I think it’s your theme which add the featured image at the top of the page and your theme developer can help you with the simple fix.
