• Strange… I’m using Firefox 1.0 and see the all the images in my blog with no issue. NuclearNoose can’t see any of them on Firefox.

Mom-in-law, using IE6, can’t see any of the images yet pop-in-law sees them fine with IE6 on his machine in the same LAN.

    Wonder what gives??

  • check your hot link blocking.

I had a similar problem on one of my sites a couple of months ago.

Hot Link protection *is* enabled. Is that what caused your problem, ChuckBlue?

Sometimes, you might want to make sure you have the little check box checked that “allows remote linking of images” or however the heck it’s worded in cPanel.

Yes, I had hot linking blocked for png files, and some folks in Europe couldn’t see my crestar maps. It should have worked, as my site was calling the pngs. I removed pngs from being blocked, and they could see my site then.

Cpanel gives a fill in the blank rectangle. Any file types in there will be blocked from remote linking.
