That should not be an issue – unless your video is loaded by a custom function form a plugin or theme. I mean if the video is loaded by embedding the video url or embed code or shortcode into post or Text HTML widget Lazy load will load whatever the video dimension proportions are.
Can you advise what you are using to embed the video and post a link to the site where I can see it and look with browser inspector.

Hi Steve,
Please view this example page (https://www.celebrityhealthcritic.com/test-video-layout-a3-lazy-load-plugin/).
I have posted an image first showing what the video layout normally looks like when inserted by my theme (Extra theme). And then underneath, you can see what the layout is like with A3 plugin active.
Note also how the image is clipped on the sides of the preview, especially on tablet, with A3 lazy load.
Thanks

Just wanted to update this as i’ve done some more testing.
When i insert a youtube video using either my theme, or the default wordpress text editor, the inserted video is oversized.
Without A3 activated, the video appears in 16:9.
With A3 activated, the video appears in 4:3
I even tested this using the default wordpress editor and bypassing my theme entirely and still got the same results.
So this should be easily replicable by creating a new post and pasting a youtube link.
