image optimisation failure

Hi,
image optimisation request (adding WebP images) used to work fine in the past. After adding new images and clicking on “send opt request” it does not work.
how to resolve this issue, please?
thanks,
Tibo

@t29k75 please share with me a report ID. Can be created from LSC => Toolbox => Reports => click on “Send to Litespeed” than share me the number generated.
Thank you
Looking over a few logs over QC I see you changed the IP of the server.
Was that necessary? Did you changed the hosting server/service?
I would make sure the Server IP from QC => Settings is the correct one.
Then we can investigate furtherHi there,
I am not aware that I changed IP in QC, but I think my host changed/moved from old servers to new ones some months ago. That my explain it.
How or where can I change IP so they match, please?
thanks,
Tibo
@t29k75 go to https://my.quic.cloud/ login with your account and follow these steps: https://docs.quic.cloud/troubleshooting/imageopt/#incorrect-server-ip
Yes, you were correct, server IP was changed.
I added new IP to LiteSpeed Cache -> General, QUIC.cloud -> Settings and QUIC.cloud -> DNS Zones (all
Arecords). Then I Synced the server configuration in LiteSpeed Cache, dashboard -> QUIC.cloud Service Usage Statistics.Hope we can go back to image optimisation;) What should I do next to get WebP images, please?

at the moment nope, no WEBP images in library or on website. Should I press “send opt request” button or “Clean Up Unfinished Data: 200 images” button first?
@t29k75 let’s take it one by one.
First let’s address the image optimization as a whole. Are you able to send and pull images?
Press “Clean Up Unfinished Data: 200 images” button first then start a new Push Request.
Then: I see that settings are the way they should be to create WEBP images. Did you do the settings after a while? or from start they were like this?
WEBP might not be saved if generated WEB size is LARGER than orignial. There is this case, I am unable to see past optimizations because since december there are no successfull pulls.
Normally, to create webp’s you would need to destroy all data and restart the whole process. I suggest you wait until march for our new version. There will be some optimizations to this part and will help you not to destroy all data.
Let’s address them in the order above 🙂ok. I am able to press and after Clean Up and Push Request summary looks like this: https://ibb.co/mgNdhCV
Some new images are being optimised (outdoor gallery images) now. Should I to repeat Clean Up and Push Request?
I set up settings from beginning some years back (there are optimised images from 2021) and webp worked fine.
Is destroying all data affecting LS settings only or something else?
@t29k75
If the number of images to pull goes down from 200 then everything is ok. No need to cleanup.
If you destroy all data will not affect post images(they will not be missing). It will affect the page speed UNTIL webp/optimized format will reappear.Ok I understand. Where is (if I decide to) destroy all data button located?
thanks
In admin => LSC => Image optimization overview page => then on the right side
Docs: https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/imageopt/#destroy-all-optimization-datafound it. More images (almost all) were optimised by now, so I will leave “Destroy All Optimization Data” alone:)
thanks a lot for your help, I mark it as resolved.
Where is the best place to leave a review?
All the best,
Tibo
Glad I was able to help you!
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/litespeed-cache/ is best place to do that 🙂
Thank you!
