    Hello,

Bulk image optimisation seems to have stalled about a third of the way through.(801 of 2679 images)

I have checked similar topics but haven’t come up with an answer yet.
There are no related errors on the server log and no errors in the console for the plugin’s page. Any ideas?

    Thanks, Nick.

    Hello @infoatambientmedia,

The process was stalled because the cron event for the conversion:

    siteground_optimizer_start_webp_conversion_cron

was missing. Once the event was recreated via wp-cli, the process completed successfully. The event being removed after running for some time is most likely caused by an additional plugin installed on the site, something for managing cron jobs for example.

If similar issue reoccurs in the future, you may consider disabling such plugins on your end and restart the process, which should be enough for it to finish without interruption.

    Best Regards,
    Gergana Petrova

    Hello Gergana,

    Thank you for your help.
However I am still having a problem.
WebP conversion seems to have run fine, but I’m trying to bulk optimize existing images (compression 25%). And again it gets stuck.

I presume this is not siteground_optimizer_start_webp_conversion_cron
How can I find the name of the cron job for the bulk compression function?

I had a look through the plugins and the only one that touches cron is WP Crontrol.

    Any ideas?
