    Hello,

it seems there’s a problem with image optimization. Almost none of the images in my library have a WebP version…

    Thanks for your help!!

I do see most of images are showing webp though , and from your previous screenshot of Media page , I can see there is some webp

what did it show on your browser?

yes some images.. and that’s the problem! On my others sites, wich are all in the same cofiguration with the same plugins, etc.. all my images are optimized..

what did it show on your browser? whats does it mean?

that is kind of normal , not all images can be optimized, specially for ones that has been previously already optimized, in that kind of case, our image optm wouldn’t be able to squeeze it further so will remain as it was

Those that have already been? What does that mean?!
My other sites don’t react like that at all…

no , like if image was compressed already before it was uploaded to site

In the top image, a website that works well, each image has its own WebP version. In the bottom image, this isn’t the case… so there’s nothing “normal” about it… i tryed to chek everything and for me, both sites are configured the same way…

    what could be the problem?

    Thread Starter pierremartin310

    (@pierremartin310)

    no, nothing was compressed before…

yes , this is kind of normal , on your #2 screenshot , it has original optm info , but no webp , this usually happens due to 2 reasons , 1) you did not enable webp when you optimize these 2 images, but I don’t think that is the case here , or 2) the webp file results in a larger size than its jpg version which has no point to keep it

if i do “detruire toutes les données d’optimisation” , what will be the result of this?

    Thread Starter pierremartin310

    (@pierremartin310)

No! Not at all, the French and Romanian images have the same size! The French image has a WebP format, but the Romanian image does not. Those are the same images!! i think you didn’t see so well what i send to you…

I do not think so , but you could give it a try though

please give me a link of page that contains the images in question for both languages

Isn’t there a way to optimize all the images again?
