I noticed that many of my images are being indexed by Google as its own page. I don’t want this because I don’t want these pages to appear in GoogleSearch. I do want them to appearin Google Image. So, I’m trying to access the media settings to switch this feature off and have the attachment URL redirects to the page they are attached to instead of the stand alone image page. This is an example of the page that should not appear in Google, https://brookhavenorthodontics.com/brookhaven-buckhead-orthodontist/types-braces/invisalign-case-clear-aligner/. How do I ensure these pages don’t appear, please?

I see there is a Yoast SEO Premium plugin. But it is not active. I don’t think anyone purchased it. Would this be the reason I can’t see the media tab? If I download the regular Yoast will I lose all me meta information?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @keirasurf,

Thanks for reaching out. This site is using Yoast SEO Premium plugin v5.6.1, which is quite outdated. Please deactivate and delete it. Then install and activate Yoast SEO v25.0. In WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Advanced > Media Pages, you can Disable Media Pages.

Furthermore, when you upload media (e.g. an image or video), WordPress automatically creates a media page (attachment URL) for it. These pages are quite empty and could cause thin content problems and lead to excess pages on your site. Therefore, Yoast SEO disables them by default (and redirects the attachment URL to the media itself).
