Image problems unable to solve

Hello, I am fresh to the web world and working on a page on our company site that was pre existing. I am trying to update this page here is what i am trying to do. I need to get this nij logo into the sidebar as a link to a pdf but this is not working and the only way i found for the link to work was to insert it into the post but when i do that it duplicates into the sidebar but its not a link there. I dont need it on there twice so i have tried deactivating my plugins but that didnt really solve the problem either. also i used nextgen gallery to to my photo gallery and i would like to get rid of the text above it that says view slideshow if possible but cant figure out where to do this. I also need to put info and links under the two persons pics on the left sidebar if possible. Please help, Thank you
