Image Saturation Changes After Upload
-
Before Soliloquy was brought on as the main slider, an image similar to this:
http://www.toristauffer.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/DevonFlokati-1024×618.jpg
was uploaded to the above site.
Recently, Soliloquy was brought in to replace Meteor Slides.
When we tried uploading the same image to be part of the new slider, this is our result: http://www.toristauffer.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/DevonFlokati-970x585_c.jpg. The weird part is, even the full image is borked: http://www.toristauffer.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/DevonFlokati.jpg.
According to Photoshop it’s the same sRGB color profile as all the other ones that came before it, but it’s in eye-bleeding territory.
Soliloquy’s the only real change, so it’s not a pointing-fingers or blame thing so much as, it’s our only known path to investigate. Is there something in the resizing/cropping code that makes a call to ImageMagick or some such thing that might change a setting, or call upon a default, or _something_ that could even do this? Are there any known upload issues with GoDaddy hosted sites with Soliloquy where colors can be affected? (I say that because it -is- a GoDaddy hosted site, and also because they sometimes have crazy specific server settings that you only find out the hard way play games with what you try to do.
